Why Join?
As we're all well aware, today more than ever, schools are challenged to provide every child with the best education. MCPS is cutting their budget while federal and state requirements are growing. Our school is being challenged to do more with less.
What can you do? More than 30 years of research has proven that children do better when their parents are involved both at home and in school. Grades are higher. Test scores rise. Self-esteem grows. Schools improve.
These are powerful outcomes from your active involvement in your child’s education. You know the benefits and want to make a difference, but how can you be more actively involved? It’s simple—Join the RCES Parent Teacher Association . Our highly active PTA has a place for everyone who wants to be involved in their child's education. Don't have time for PTA? Your dues go a long way toward enriching your child's educational experience at RCES.

NOTE: If you do not wish to pay online, you can still register your new membership online by filling in all the data fields and choosing the "Manual Payment" option at the end of the registration. Your membership status will be pending until payment is received. Once payment is confirmed, your membership status will change to 'Active' and you will have full access to the website.
Renewals
If you ARE ABLE to login to this website then you are already in our membership database. You can renew your membership online with three easy clicks:
Login to this site (top right of the screen) using your email address and password (default password is 'guest' and should be changed by you) and click Login.
Click the View Profile link under your name (top right of the screen).
Click the Renew button to renew your membership.
Manual Registration
If you really do not want to register online at all (Remember, you can register online and still choose a manual payment option (i.e., write a check or pay cash )), you can download the registration form , fill it out and return it to school with your child as we've done in the past. Checks are payable to "RCES PTA". Please specify "Membership" in the memo field.
