Did you know that the MCPS county budget does not cover many of the items our kids use everyday, things like BrainPop software licenses and classroom technology, reading level books, rugs and flexible seating, playground equipment and shade! That's paid for by our PTA, and we can only do that with your contribution.

Have you ever found yourself discussing concerns about our school, the MCPS, or state-level policies with friends or neighbors? Your voice matters, and we’re here to listen! We take pride in advocating for every child’s well-being and educational experience.

Our mission extends beyond the school gates. We champion advocacy not only within our school community but also at the cluster, county, and state levels. By joining the RCES PTA, you become part of a collective voice that influences positive change.

Our ultimate goal is to have one RCES PTA member for every family enrolled at our school, so that everyone has a voice. We want to grow the kind of community influence needed to support EVERY student in our care, to help them reach their full potential.
RCES PTA needs to raise at least $30,000 during the 2020-21 school year to support the school's needs. $5.25 of every membership goes to our parent organizations, Montgomery County Council of PTAs (MCCPTA), Maryland PTA (MDPTA) and National PTA.
